today michelle, jared and i (all coincidently clad in green t-shirts and jeans) went to the san diego zoo!!!!

the start of the day brought a hearty chuckle from all of us as we realised we were wearing the same thing and when we got down to the zoo the ticket booth man randomly asked if we were canadian so we decided that if anyone should ask why we were wearing the same thing we would tell them because we are canadian

unfortunately it never happened

so first off we walked through all the monkeys to get to the treetop cafe where we had lunch and michelle and i had kids meals with pb and j .....yum ..... and jared did some animal impressions that sounded nothing like the animals and it was a gay ole time all around

after that we became somewhat lost but managed to see most of the animals we wanted to including a huge tiger that wandered down to suck on a huge bone and most of the animals were pretty sleepy so we saw a lot of cute, snoozing animals

and we took the bus tour with a guide that kept making weird influctions with his voice like some cheesy game show host.....and we also did the aerial tramway and we bought some minor trinkets including rubber bracelets of different amnimals with donations to the zoological preservation society or something hoity toity like that

hungry hungry hippos
